Effective October 17, 2026. Batch Log keeps everything on your phone; this policy says what leaves it when you share it.

1. Who we are

Mister Pastrami Batch Log is an Android app of MISTER PASTRAMI LLC, Boston, Massachusetts, United States. MISTER PASTRAMI LLC publishes this policy. Questions: stronthal4736715@gmail.com or (617) 294-9380.

A closed notebook

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the Batch Log app and its website pages. It does not cover what happens to a record after you send it with another app.

A clipboard

3. What the app keeps

The batches you record: name, cut, weight, lot, cure, cook, cooling readings, holding checks, reheating, allergens, the end of the batch, the names typed as who did each step and notes; the permits and certificates you track with their dates; thermometer checks; and the form you are filling in, so a closed app reopens where you were. It also keeps how the business sells and makes food (the choices on the Permits tab) and remembers the last name typed in a "by" field (cured, cooked, cooled, checked or reheated by), to fill in the next one.

An empty tray

4. What the app never collects

No location, contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, advertising identifier, analytics or crash reports. The app knows only the names you type into a record.

5. Where it is kept

Everything stays in the app's private storage on your phone. MISTER PASTRAMI LLC has no copy of it and no server for the app.

A coiled cable

6. No account, no internet

The app has no account, no sign-in and no internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself.

An envelope and a phone

7. Sharing you start

When you share or copy a batch record or the permit list, the text goes to the app you choose and the people you send it to. It holds the same figures and names as the record on screen.

A desk phone

8. Calls and email

Tapping call or email on the About screen opens your phone or email app with (617) 294-9380 or stronthal4736715@gmail.com. The app never calls or writes by itself.

A blank form

9. What the business receives

MISTER PASTRAMI LLC receives only what you send it yourself, for example a record you email to stronthal4736715@gmail.com.

10. Children

The app is made for food business staff and is not directed at children under 13.

An eraser

11. Keeping and deleting

A batch stays until you delete it; a reading, check or reheat can be deleted on its own. Deleting asks first and cannot be undone. The remembered name is removed with Forget the remembered name on the Privacy screen; names already saved in records stay with them. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes everything.

A closed drawer

12. No backup copies

The app is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer, so a new phone starts empty. Share your records to keep copies with the business's files.

13. Security

Android keeps the app's storage private to the app. Lock your phone with a PIN or fingerprint, since anyone who can open your phone can open the app.

A padlock

14. Permissions

The app asks for no permission at all.

A switch turned off

15. Your choices

You decide what to record, what to share and when to delete it.

16. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the app and the website show the new version and its date. This version is effective 17 October 2026.

17. Other apps you choose

Your email, phone, share and browser apps handle what you send through them under their own terms and policies.
