What Batch Log is
A record and a set of timers for preparing pastrami batches. It compares the figures entered with the Food Code limits.
What it is not
A record and a set of timers. It does not inspect food, approve a HACCP plan or replace the judgement of the person in charge.
Rule summaries
The rule notes summarise public sources and link to them. The Food Code, 105 CMR 590.000, 105 CMR 590.011 and the regulatory authority decide what applies.
Permits
The permit list follows the City of Boston's pages as read on 17 October 2026. Steps and fees change; the offices' own pages decide.
The example
The example batches, the names in them and their figures are made up.
The tools on this site
They work in your browser on what you type and keep nothing when you leave the page.
Your data
Everything the app records stays on the phone; the privacy policy says what leaves it when you share it.
